Established in 1976, Dale Boat Builders is well known in the Central North

We are an experienced team offering total co-ordination for designing, layout, refurnishing and installations with the expertise of craftsmen. Based on the banks of the Waikato river, at the edge of Lake Taupo, we are able to offer convenient haul-out services, with some storage options available.

Joe

As managing director, Joe oversees all building and repair projects . He is experienced in many aspects of fibreglass work. Being a keen sailor, he is the go-to man for all your boating chandlery needs.

Bernie has been building boats for over 60 years and is our woodwork specialist. With many of Bernie’s boats now on the water around the world, he’s looking for a new wooden boat project.
